COMPANY NAME: Yushin 
JOB TITLE: Spray Paint Technician
LOCATION: Cranston, RI
HOURS:  1st Shift, Full Time

Key responsibilities:

  •  Performs duties in a safe manner to include wearing personal protective equipment, using machine guards and following OSHA safety regulations.
  •  Prepares welded frames, spacer and brackets for painting
  • Prepares electrical components such as cabinets, junction boxes, pedestals and consolettes for painting
  • Repairs damaged areas of equipment as required
  • Ensure all procedures are followed to complete the project on schedule
  • Operates and maintains all departmental equipment in accordance to safety standards  
  •  Utilize all safety equipment / personal protective clothing to minimize hazard exposure
  • Recommends departmental operating supplies to meet scheduled production needs
  • Finish spray paints on assigned projects
  • Mixes oil and / or water-based paints to proper consistency for spray painting.
  • As required, performs other manufacturing duties as directed by Production Manager such as: robotic assembly, loading / unloading trucks, building crates, etc
  • Give daily feedback on progress of the assembly versus schedule of the project to the Senior Welder
  • Recommends corrective action to keep projects on schedule
  • Keeps job area neat and organized
  • Keeps accurate records of all materials issued
  • Develop and maintain a positive attitude toward quality and strive for zero defects in work and documentation

Successful candidates will have:

  • Qualified individuals will have paint booth experience
