JOB TITLE: Solder Paste Operator and Packager
LOCATION: East Providence, RI
HOURS: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the Solder Supervisor, the individual mixes, inspects, assembles and packages solder paste and fluxes into designated intermediate vessels and various containers and syringes utilizing mixers and filling equipment, cleaning equipment, scales, labeling machines, other specialized jigs and equipment for sealing. The individual must be able to follow detailed work instructions.

- Operates mixers, scales and required equipment in the manufacture of solder paste and fluxes according to pre-set instructions (ISO Procedures and BOM) within established quality and time standards

- Operates equipment required for filling, labeling, and boxing of solder paste and flux  according to pre-set instructions (ISO Procedures and BOM) within established quality and time standards

- Performs in-line quality inspections, as required

- Maintains proper housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Records accurate data

- Moves product into cold storage area

- Contributes to success of team by submitting improvement ideas, identifying potential problems, providing feedback on new methods or method changes and by displaying a positive, cooperative attitude in working with orders.

- Adherence to safety policies

- Individual must be willing to cross train in other areas and perform in those areas when needed

- Other duties as assigned.

Successful candidates will have:

- High school diploma or general equivalent diploma (GED)

- Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training

- Basic math skills

- Ability to speak, read, & write in English

- Ability to work with others in a team environment

- Prior experience using scales
