COMPANY NAME: Community Care Alliance
JOB TITLE: Security Specialist (3rd Shift)
LOCATION: Smithfield, RI

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure and monitor general safety and structure of the shelter as they pertain to shelter rules and policies.
• Monitor any situations between residents at the shelter and be able to practice de-escalation and conflict resolution amongst residents.
• Be able to conduct appropriate outreach to any safety resources and emergency services
• Additionally, ensure general safety of the residents by ensuring the building structure is properly cared for and maintained.
• Complete circuits of the property every 30 minutes for each shift.
• Observe and record any potential safety concerns regarding the building, procedures, and/or individuals (residents and guests) at the shelter. 
• Exercise the ability to de-escalate conflict between clients and perform any crisis intervention that may cause a concern for safety or one or multiple individuals.

Successful candidates will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Empathic of others, a person who genuinely wants to help the less fortunate.
• BCI
• ???????Driver's License
• Related human service experience a plus.
