JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant
LOCATION: Providence, RI
HOURS: 1^st Shift

The Medical Assistant is a key member of the Physician Practice and assists providers with delivery of care. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Providers in delivering patient care.
• Perform preparatory tasks to enhance practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Conduct exam preparation and patient interviews.
• Record patient vitals and maintain patient charts.
• Handle chart pulling and filing.
• Ensure timely room turnover.
• Order necessary medical supplies.
• Conduct medical testing as directed by the provider.
• Be flexible to float to other practices when required.

Successful candidates will have:

• Medical Assistant Certification and is eligible to work as a Medical Assistant in Rhode Island
• High School Diploma or equivalent required completion of Medical Assistant course required
• Two to Four years of relevant work experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical/physician’s office preferred
