JOB TITLE: Installer
LOCATION: Cranston, RI
HOURS: Full -Time; 1st Shift

Job Description:
The position responsible for completing installation work on buildings, including siding, roofing, sheet-rocking and carpentry. The Weatherization Insulation Installer will work as a member of a team to efficiently and effectively complete all project duties assigned by the crew chief. Installers will be expected to ensure compliance with Industry Standards and OSHA and other safety work practices while working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install insulation materials, air sealing, roof ventilation, etc.
  • Apply insulation materials such as loose, blanket, board, and foam insulation to attics, crawl spaces, basements, or walls.
  • Install and seal joints of air ducts to improve heating and cooling efficiency.
  • Install soffit, gable or roof ventilation openings.
  • Install temporary access openings to walls floors or roof using hand or power tools.
  • Installing weather-stripping materials to doors or windows to reduce energy losses.
  • Wrap air ducts and water lines with insulating materials, such as duct wrap and pipe insulation.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills (internal and external).
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-pressure, schedule-driven environment.
