Position Summary

SkillsRI is looking for a Client Services Manager that will create and foster an outstanding client experience for the organization’s business partners and prospects. The Client Services Manager will operate as a vital member of the client services team, responsible for managing existing accounts, onboarding new business partners, and maintaining trusted and working relationships that advance the interests of both SkillsRI and the client.
 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and maintain strong and effective relationships with clients while serving as an internal subject matter expert to advance clients’ desired outcomes
  • Offer proactive communication and feedback with current clients to build deeper, consultative relationships and deliver an outstanding client experience
  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of client organizational structure, processes, and policies
  • Work closely with the Sr. Director of Client Services and Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition & Career Services to establish recruitment priorities, respond to business partner feedback, and partner on strategic initiatives
  • Maintain SkillsRI brand awareness within Rhode Island’s human resources and hiring manager communities
  • Prospect with new business clients to secure commitments to hire unemployed and underemployed individuals in a way that promotes SkillsRI’s strategic growth
  • Leverage creative problem-solving skills to identify clients’ hiring needs and gaps to provide and propose solutions internally to the SkillsRI team and its clients
  • Maintain a disciplined use of SkillsRI tools and technology to ensure high levels of service, consistent performance, and timely completion of deliverables for clients
  • Offer hands-on coordination of all internal SkillsRI efforts to provide excellent service for clients, from C-suite executives to front-line hiring managers

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while accomplishing goals under tight time constraints
  • Ability to communicate professionally across a broad range of constituent groups

  • Ambitious, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Strong documentation skills, and able to make connections between similar problems
  • Willingness to work hard, maintain a positive attitude, and overcome challenges
  • Solution-oriented problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize according to business goals
  • Conviction, integrity, honesty, and maturity in all situations
 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of prior sales/account management experience required
  • Demonstrated experience developing consultative client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new lead activity, as well as build and manage partner relationships
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM programs
  • Access to a vehicle is required for the purpose of account management of business clients throughout Rhode Island

Salary is commensurate with experience.
