COMPANY NAME: Modine Manufacturing Company
JOB TITLE: Assembler
LOCATION: West Kingstown, Rhode Island
HOURS: 1st 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies per safety, quality, and productivity specifications.
  • Works from written and verbal schedules.
  • Reports damage to the supervisor.
  • Requires the Ability to stand and lift 50 pounds.
  • Operates one or more units of the following type of production equipment:  presses, spot welders, brazing oven, or other similar or related devices. 
  • Makes simple setups and/or minor adjustments to the equipment required to produce a variety of products and to maintain processes per specifications. 
  • May operate multiple machine batteries or perform assembly singly or in combination with other operations. 
  • Performs material handling operations as directed. 
  • Pulls from stock, packs, and assembles enclosure, hanger strip, accessories, brackets, etc. to complete orders. 
  • Responsible for quality of own work. 
  • Maintains accurate production records. 
  • Setups, if required are performed by others. 
  • Responsible for keeping the work area clean, safe, and orderly. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Successful candidates will have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One to two years of related experience preferred but will train.
  • Should have a basic knowledge of tools and processes.
