JOB TITLE:  Lead Workforce Facilitator

HOURS:   Full-Time

Job Overview

The Lead Workforce Facilitator is responsible for implementing the retail-training curriculum as well as developing competitive work skills; develop externship opportunities; work with businesses and state agencies to recruit for competitive employment opportunities for individuals supported; participate in staff/planning meetings; and other duties as assigned.

 

Position Responsibilities
  1. Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate an active learning experience for a retail setting.
  2. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
  3. Prepare classroom for class activities.
  4. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources to meet individualized learning styles.
  5. Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
  6. Responsible to transport individuals supported as needed in personal vehicle.

Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor’ s degree or higher from an accredited institution

Experience: Previous teaching and retail experience with knowledge of relevant technology

Substitution: Any equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational and strong project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Exhibit initiative with a high energy level; be self-motivated while having the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
  • Familiarity with community resources and referral services along with local labor market trends.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and strong Internet researching skills.
  • Strong skills in being able to plan, organize and engage potential employers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Delivers a high work standard and has the ability to stress tolerance.
